Lutheran Girl Pioneers is an
organization for girls in first grade through high school. We meet on Monday nights
from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
The girls participate in many activities, such as
camping, music, games, parties and cookouts. Many life skills are also
taught. Citizenship, cooking, sewing, leadership, etiquette, first aid and nature are just
a few.
All of these activities are always presented with our motto "LOYAL TO CHRIST"
as our main goal.
W.O.W. - Women of the WELS
offers an opportunity for the women of St. John's to gather in fellowship, to grow spiritually through Bible study,
and to further the mission work of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod on the local and worldwide levels. We meet once
a month, from September through May.
Lutheran Womens Missionary Society (LWMS):
women of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod, who seek "to increase interest in and
to support mission
endeavors which are part of or in the interest of our Synod."
St. John's actively takes
part in supporting WELS world and home missions and missionaries through
ongoing prayer, mission money collection and participation in yearly Spring and Fall Rallies,
which provide the opportunity to hear missionaries firsthand and encourage each other
in Christ. Men and women are welcome at mission rallies.
