Pastor Dale Schulz
Congregation Pastor and Catechism Instructor
Pastor Schulz was born in Bay City, Michigan and grew up
there. He attended Bay City Public High School before spending his college years at Michigan State University and Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, Minnesota). After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dale continued pastoral training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon,
Wisconsin. He finished his final seminary instruction in spring 1974. His first ministry assignment was at Taylor, Michigan where he served for five years. In 1979, Pastor accepted a call to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. There he met his future wife, Jackie, and they were wed in June 1985. Pastor Schulz has served St. John’s since 1989 when he and his wife, Jackie, accepted a call.
