News for the Whole School
- Attention all families: there is an important open forum scheduled this Sunday, October 18th, at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the future of St. John's Lutheran School. You are all invited and encouraged to come to the opening segment of this meeting to share your thoughts. We would really like to have input from every family, so please make every effort to be at St. John's no later than 1:00 p.m. this Sunday.
- You should have received a Lifetouch picture order form. Picture Day is this Friday, October 16th. Please return any orders on Picture Day, not before.
- The Mackey family has generously volunteered to host this year's Reformation Party. If you enjoy fun, games, and prizes, this is the place for you! The costume party will be held Saturday afternoon, October 31st, from 2:00-4:00 at the Mackey's house, a very short distance from school. This should allow plenty of time to return home if you wish to trick-or-treat in your neighborhood. (The Mackeys also mentioned that you are welcome to trick-or-treat in their neighborhood if you wish.) Thank you in advance to the Mackey family!
- Included with your Wednesday note is a booklet from the Delaware State Legislative Hall tour our school took on October 2nd. It is a nice keepsake to remember our tour.
- Please take time to read the attached flier from a local gardening/ landscaping business in Bear. They are offering our school 10% of all their sales from this week through the end of this weekend. It is a generous offer that could benefit St. John's.
