News from Miss Kroening
Grades 1-4
- Third graders, please note the information sheet that went home today concerning our Mouse project.
News from Mr. Monday
Grades 5-8
- I have received two permission slips for our field trip next Wednesday, November 11th. Please return yours as soon as possible if you have not yet handed it in. If need be, I have extra forms.
- 7th and 8th graders should be well started on their novel projects in connection with The Hobbit, our new Reading class novel. Students should be working on these mini-projects at home. If you need any project supplies, please check with me.
- Our new AR competition has begun. Please plan ahead in your outside reading. I think we can read more this quarter! Having a regular reading time during the school day and at home is the key to success.
- Since we are not in session this Friday, Pastor's Catechism students should recite their memory work Thursday if they did not do so today. Please stay current.
News for the Whole School
- Thank you to all our singers this past Sunday and to their parents for ensuring their arrival. Your praises were a lovely addition to the service!
- Just a reminder that there is no school this Friday, November 6th, as our teachers will be taking a class with the other teachers in our district.
- Please note the attachment today concerning Grandparents' Day. As you know from past years, please return this form by Monday so that we can finish up our invitations! Remember, even if you know your grandparents will not be able to attend, you are encouraged to send an invitation, anyway, just to let them know you are thinking of them!
