Grades 1-4
- Our next social studies test for grades 1-4 is next Wednesday, November 28th. A study guide went home today. Please help your child use his or her days off over our break to start studying.
- Scholastic book orders went home today. They are due back next Thursday, November 29th. Multiple orders from various catalogs can be combined into one total payment, and any checks can be made out to: Scholastic Book Orders.
- Thank you to all who sang on Sunday. Your praises to our Lord sounded lovely! If you were not there and had not talked to me ahead of time, please send in a written excuse.
News from Mr. Monday
Grades 5-8
- All 5-8 students have received instruction about a Math project due December 20th. This is the first of three such projects. Each student needs to use poster board for this project. You can purchase a sheet of poster board from me for 25¢.
- Please note the permission slip the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base went home today. It is due back Friday, December 7th. Please help us as a chaperone/driver if you can.
News for the Whole School
- This special "Tuesday Note" edition of the "Wednesday Note" is due to Grandparents' Day tomorrow. We're looking forward to this fun day!
- An envelope was sent home regarding the Grandparents' Day hot lunch. A lot of time and effort goes into making this lunch the best of the year. Kindly consider a donation per person who will be enjoying this delicious meal that day (this includes students who do not have a grandparent attending as they will still be enjoying this wonderful meal). Thanks!
- Please note the permission form for Christmas caroling went home last week. Please return it as soon as possible. We need numerous chaperones for this whole school event. We will be leaving school around 9:30 and returning before the end of our half-day on Tuesday, December 4th. Check you schedule and see if you can join us!
- For anyone who took retake pictures yesterday: when your original package comes in, we will be removing the group shot to give to you, then returning the originals to Life Touch. The group shot will not come in again with the retakes, and it is standard practice to return the first pictures that were not as you had hoped. Your retakes will, of course, come in a few weeks later.
