Preschool and Kindergarten

  1. Due to our snow day last week Friday, our Fine Arts Night will be held immediately after school this Friday, February 29th. Please come and join us.
     
  2. Please note that the hot lunch scheduled for next week is only for the 1st-8th graders. Your child needs to bring a lunch as usual.

Grades 1-4

  1. Thanks to our chaperones for Game Day. We had a great day!
     
  2. Fine Arts Night is rescheduled to this Friday, February 29th at 3:30. Please send in your child's costume on Friday morning so that we can use it during our dress rehearsal.
     
  3. Our class is in charge of providing treats after Fine Arts Night. Since it is now being held right after school, those of you providing treats should bring them in either Thursday or Friday morning or right after school on Friday. Thanks!
     
  4. The next Science Fair checkpoint for the 3rd and 4th graders is next Wednesday, March 5th. Please see the attached sheet that your student needs to fill out.
     
  5. Remember that book reports are due this Friday, February 29th. Information for the next book report is attached today.
     
  6. Please note the attached Memory Treasures calendar for March.
     

News from Mr. Monday

Grades 5-8

  1. Our classroom is quickly running out of tissues. Please send in another box to get us through the cold season. Thanks to those who already have!
     
  2. The next Science Fair checkpoint is due next Wednesday, March 5th. Please check your packet for requirements.
     
  3. Book orders went home last week. They are due back this Friday, February 29th. Any checks can be made out to: Scholastic Books.
     
  4. 6-8 grade Catechism students, your weekly worksheet is due on Friday like usual. You only have a short few days in which to complete it, so be sure to have it at home tonight!
     

News for the Whole School

  1. Tonight is a continuation of the Lenten season during which we contemplate the suffering that Jesus went through to free us of our sins. Please join us for the special worship service tonight at St. John's at 7:00 p.m. There is also a soup and sandwich supper beginning at 5:30 which is handy if you find it difficult to get home, find some dinner, and still arrive to church on time. We look forward to seeing you!
     
  2. Fine Arts Night has been rescheduled to this Friday, February 29th, after school at 3:30. We realize that this may mean that some parents cannot make it who could have come to an evening performance, but since the other option was to cancel, we thought it was better that some family could come rather than no one other than the students getting to see the many talents our children have. We hope to see you there!
     
  3. Due to our shortened week last week, the February hot lunch for grades 1-8 has been rescheduled to the first week of March. Please see the attached information.
     
  4. Please remember that next Tuesday, March 4th is an early dismissal day. Be sure to arrange for your child's pick up.
