News from Mrs. Cottman
Grades 1-4
- Please note that the new Memory Treasure calendar is attached today.
- By now, your student should have completed the tables, charts, or graphs for his or her science fair project. Please note that the next checkpoint is shortly after Easter break on Friday, April 16th. This is a huge step: completing the rough draft of the report. Plan ahead and work on this over Easter vacation!

- By now, your student should have completed the tables, charts, or graphs for his or her science fair project. Please note that the next checkpoint is shortly after Easter break on Friday, April 16th. This is a huge step: completing the rough draft of the report. - Encourage your student to think ahead and get some reading done over Easter break. Completing one or both of the outside AR reading novels over vacation will certainly make for an easier finish to the school year!
News for the Whole School
- Thanks to our children for their beautiful Palm Sunday praises! (And thanks to the parents for getting them there. :)
- We are in the middle of Holy Week. Be sure to give proper time in worship this week as we remember the huge sacrifice our Savior made for us on the cross.
St. John's has Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services this week, both at 7:00 p.m. Also remember to celebrate His all-important resurrection from the dead this Easter Sunday. St. John's has Easter worship services this Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with a breakfast in between. You are invited to attend all these services.
- Remember, of course, that we do not have school this Friday in observance of Good Friday. School resumes on Monday, April 12th after Easter vacation.
- Note the Easter egg hunt flier. This activity is intended to be a fun time together with classmates. Count on lots of treats in a short amount of time. : We figure the little event should last about an hour. Don't forget to let Mr. Monday know you can attend!
