News from Mr. Monday

Grades 5-8

  1. The 4th quarter AR competition has finally begun. Fourth quarter slips by really quickly - make sure your child is going strong on two outside novels!

  2. Keep current with your homework to the end of the quarter. Tests are particularly important. Please contact me if you need to re-take any test to improve any grades from required courses.

News for the Whole School

  1. Thanks to everyone for a great Science Fair. The students did a great job! Thank you, parents and grandparents, for your support!

  2. In March, each of our families received a re-enrollment packet for the 2010-11 school year. We would like you to return your re-enrollment forms and fees as soon as possible since we are in full swing of preparing for next year. Returning your re-enrollment forms and fees soon will also allow Mr. Monday to instruct our remaining staff and new assistants through the process while he is still at St. John's, which will make things easier for all of us.

  3. Field Day is next week, Friday, May 7th! An optional lunch order form is attached today. If you or your child would like to order a lunch, please return the attached form and fee by Monday, May 5th. Please remember to wear your St. John's t-shirt.

  4. Arbor Day is scheduled for Friday, May 14th, after lunch. Students should bring work clothes to change into and any gardening tools that you may have. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

  5. A recent edition of Crosslinks is attached today. This is a great publication aimed at assisting Christian parents in the important, constant, and often difficult job of raising children. Please take time to read through it!
