News from Miss Kroening
Grades 1-4
- Please note that due to our field trip next week, both our spelling test and hymn will be on Thursday, October 1st, rather than Friday as usual.
News from Mr. Monday
Grades 5-8
- Our class will be taking their Terra Nova practice tests on Friday in preparation for the actual tests next Monday through Thursday. Proper sleep and breakfast before each day's test is strongly suggested.
- 7th and 8th graders should be narrowing down their choices for novel projects in connection with The Hobbit, our new Reading class novel. Students will be working on these mini-projects at home. I will be including specific instructions once students select their project.
News for the Whole School
- Miss Kroening says…It's only nine more days until I am Mrs. Cottman! Please join us on Saturday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m. for our joyous occasion! There will be a cake reception following the ceremony. We look forward to seeing you all there!
- Please return the permission form regarding our field trip to Dover on Friday, October 2nd. We sent it home last week, and we are currently scheduling drivers.
- Terra Nova testing will take place during the week of September 28th. Please plan extra sleep in preparation for the testing.
- Congratulations go out to Isaiah Harris for completing the New Castle County Summer Reading Club. Great job, Isaiah!
